Following the initial implementation and go-live of the system, Strategix continues to offer services to support our customers and help them continue to get the most out of OneOffice. The OneOffice system has many areas of functionality that are customisable and extensible. Experience tells us that customers who view their OneOffice system as a journey rather than a destination invariably derive more benefits to their business. In addition, business is not static and it is important to adjust configurations to deal with changes in circumstance.
We therefore offer a range of post-implementation services including:
Managed Services
Although some aspects of information technology are becoming easier to deploy and manage, in practise there are still some areas that require a considerable depth of understanding to ensure effective and reliable operation. Indeed, some continue to require the application of specialist skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis.
For many businesses, the requirement to employ dedicated technical and IT personnel can impose a significant cost burden. Often these people are under utilised during the day-to-day running of the business and this lack of challenge can sometimes lead to staff retention issues. Our services are designed to be tailored so they dovetail with your resources locally.
We provide a remote management service for your Windows or UNIX operating system, Oracle database and other systems as required. Examples of the type of services provided include:
- Operating system monitoring and management
- Preventative maintenance activities to spot problems before they become critical
- Overall system performance monitoring
- Housekeeping, including backup verification
- User access administration
- Printer administration and management

Optimisation Services
Our optimisation service ensures that you continue to get the maximum benefit from your investment by helping you turn on new features that were not relevant when you first went live. In addition, we help you to discover and implement useful features that have become available in subsequent releases of OneOffice.
The optimisation service comprises three phases culminating in a report of our findings with full cost justification of all recommendations:
- A business process review - to identify areas of your operation that would benefit from new OneOffice features
- An applications review - to identify which new or presently unused OneOffice features will improve your business
- A skills review - to identify where training of specific individuals or teams will enhance the value you are getting from OneOffice.
Enhancements
With its development team located in the UK, Strategix can provide a comprehensive and timely product enhancement service for OneOffice. If changes to your business mean that you need the software to support new business processes these can be addressed in a number of ways:
- Reporting - new reports (or modifications to existing reports) can usually be written by the customer or by Strategix on request
- Dashboards - new dashboards (or modifications) can be written by the customer or by Strategix on request
- Media Manager - new document templates (or modifications) can be written by the customer or by Strategix on request
- Program changes - can be written by Strategix on request
