Strategix, the leading UK supplier of enterprise management and e-business software for volume distributors, resellers and electronic retailers, has appointed Andrew Yuille as Director of Marketing.

Yuille brings six years of top level IT marketing experience to the role. He joins Strategix from the Internet consultancy Rubus where he was Head of Marketing. Previously Yuille, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, was Vice President for Corporate Marketing at Sage Tetra.

"Its great to be coming on board at this crucial time in Strategix's life cycle," commented Yuille. "Strategix has a great product and many big name customers. It's got an exciting future and I'll be working to ensure that Strategix remains a leading and respected brand in the market."

Before moving into IT Yuille was Marketing Director for Hertz Lease UK where he was heavily involved in new product development.

"Andrew's appointment will bring considerable additional expertise to the board as we continue to grow," commented Peter Lusty, Strategix Chief Executive. "He'll be involved in a number of key areas such as product direction, both internal and external communications and partner strategy."

Yuille's appointment follows the recent news that Midwich, one of the UK's largest distributors of computer-related products and peripherals, has joined the ever growing list of Strategix customers in the volume distribution sector.
