...leading motorcycle equipment distributor to
drive business efficiency and optimum customer service with
OneOffice
Strategix, a European software house dedicated to the development
and rapid deployment of supply chain software, today announced that
Moto Direct have contracted with Strategix for a 30 user OneOffice
system to integrate its finance, operations, event management and
sales order processing into a single streamlined software solution
As one of the UK's leading distributors for high quality brands of
motorcycle clothing and safety-wear (leathers, gloves, helmets,
visors, sunglasses), together with specialist motorcycle oils.
Based near Mansfield, the company employs some 30 staff,
including a team of 10 field-based sales people. To ensure
that the whole organisation is fully connected in its drive to
deliver optimum customer service all staff, both office and field
based, will have direct access to OneOffice.
With long lead times from Asia on the one hand and impatient
bikers demanding the latest styles at the counters of Moto's
retailer customers on the other, Debbie Bullock, Managing Director
at Moto Direct,
needed a top quality order management solution in order to keep the
peace.
Moto Direct are taking full advantage of the 'OneOffice in
Distribution' implementation model offered by Strategix to
ensure that they go live during January 2006. Moto Direct then plan to move to new
purpose built premises right by Jn 28 of the M1 in March 2006.
The new location will provide new warehousing facilities which
will be fully equipped to enable the deployment
of the full OneOffice RF warehousing capability. In parallel Moto
Direct will also commission
Strategix to deliver a seamless integration with their distribution carrier's
system which will further streamline warehouse dispatch. Moto Direct
also plan to introduce a full e-commerce capability during 2006
using OneOffice.Prior to selecting Strategix OneOffice, Moto
Direct carried out a detail appraisal of other software products
including Microsoft Great Plains from reseller Trinity,
Microsoft Axapta from reseller XKO, and a specialist apparel
software package. The selection process proved
that OneOffice not only addressed Moto Direct's many complex functional
requirements, but also fired their imagination through the use of
dashboards, alerts and workflow.
About OneOffice
OneOffice is a new generation of supply chain software that
combines operations, finance, customer and event management in one
innovative system. This seamless approach maintains a 360°
real-time view of an organisation, providing information as
important events occur. Human intervention is automatically sought
at critical junctures or if conditions unexpectedly change. This
enables businesses to respond quickly and make informed decisions.
OneOffice has a component-based design, enabling businesses to
select a solution that is right for them using a single package.
The OneOffice product suite includes:
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to manage promotions and
improve customer satisfaction
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to streamline back office
operations
• Supply Chain Event Management (SCEM) to detect and respond to
critical events inside and outside the business
• Supply Chain Management (SCM) to reduce costs and improve
customer service by automating processes with suppliers
The benefits of the OneOffice approach are many, including:
• Enhanced business efficiency, with software designed to meet the
unique requirements of service and distribution businesses
• Outstanding service levels, by ensuring that every business
interaction is valuable for both parties
• Improved responsiveness and SLAs, by monitoring activities in
real time and detecting opportunities and problems as they happen
• Feedback on business events and KPIs, using dashboards to deliver
summarised information in real time
• Seamless front and back office, by creating a streamlined, low
touch operation which - when conditions change - actively seeks
human intervention
• Using one database and one intuitive user interface to avoid the
significant cost and risk of integrating different vendors'
software products into a hybrid system.
